Dallas, Tex. and Sunnyvale, Calif. – June 22, 2009 – Bynari, Inc. and Commtouch® (Nasdaq: CTCH) today announced an OEM agreement for the integration of Commtouch Anti-Spam and Zero-Hour Virus Protection into Bynari’s products. Bynari and the Swedish company Nexus Messaging Solutions, another Commtouch OEM partner, have a joint development partnership for the neonInsight^TM Office Suite. 

Commtouch’s technology will work through a real-time connection to its global data centers, which analyze large volumes of Internet traffic and identify new spam, virus and phishing outbreaks based on mass distribution patterns. As a result, emerging outbreaks are identified moments after they are introduced into the Internet.

“Commtouch’s advanced spam and virus protection technology was a natural choice for Bynari,” said Hyun Kim, Bynari president. “Its solutions are completely integrated with our email server, offering extensive spam and zero hour virus protection to our customers.”

In addition to being incorporated as part of Bynari’s neonInsight product, the Commtouch solutions will also be available as an add-on to the standard neonInsight™ on-premises software offering.  NeonInsight™ is a Linux-based email server providing messaging and collaboration solutions, including standards-based access to e-mail, contacts, calendar, tasks and notes-sharing from a wide variety of clients, including mobile.
