Bucharest, Romania – November 24, 2010 – Axigen, the professional messaging solution vendor (http://www.axigen.com), announces the release of Axigen version 7.6, featuring new administration and automation tools, as well as the availability of an Instant Messaging service that can be accessed from the Axigen Ajax WebMail interface.

Version 7.6's main benefits focus on improved efficiencies and peace of mind for system administrators and IT managers. It helps reduce time spent on mail server administration and maintenance by introducing new CLI features such as built-in support for incremental backup, automatic update of the Axigen Outlook Connector on end users' work stations and the ability to free storage space by purging messages from specific user and public folders.

By popular demand, Axigen also expands communications capabilities for enterprises and Service Providers by offering Instant Messaging features in the Ajax WebMail interface. The solution allows users to discuss and collaborate with multiple co-workers in real-time, to manage their status or buddy list, and to easily see who is available for immediate contact and input. It complements email, facilitates multi-tasking and connects teams.
