Avoid scripting - This may be the one piece of advice that will do most to keep you the safe on the Web: steer clear of JavaScript, especially on sites you don't trust. 2. Back out of rogue antivirus offers - Rogue antivirus programs have emerged as one of the most annoying security problems of the past few years. 3. Sharpen your password game - People have to remember too many passwords on the Internet.
